Nethercoats has embarked on ambitious new programmes to investigate enhanced manufacturing practices in terms of component and material selection. The materials Nethercoats are researching to use can in fact make a positive contribution to the environment, and can continuously be recycled.

Nethercoats recognise the importance of environmental considerations in operating its business and as a responsible organisation, the company seeks to follow policies that recognise this in all areas of its activities.

It is widely considered whilst observing best practices that timber and wood products are the ultimate sustainable and recyclable materials, they require low energy consumption to process and are thermally efficient in use.

In addition, Nethercoats are investigating end of life processes and are working towards a zero landfill policy trying to influence both suppliers and end users to achieve the same best practice.
